Los estudiantes tendrán una perspectiva actualizada de las últimas tendencias en ciberseguridad e IoT, permitiendo esta perspectiva darles un conocimiento avanzado que les permitirá mejorar sus habilidades/conocimientos y por tanto, mejorar su empleabilidad y promoción profesional

Estas jornadas están financiadas a través de la Cátedra “Smart Rural IoT and Secured Environments”, asociada a la acción de promoción de las Cátedras de Ciberseguridad en España del Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad (INCIBE). Esta iniciativa se lleva a cabo en el marco de los fondos del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia, con la financiación de los Fondos Next Generation-EU.

Las iniciativas #CátedrasCiber y #ProyectosCiber están cofinanciadas por el Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad (INCIBE) a través del #PlanDeRecuperación con fondos #NextGenerationEU que pueden seguirse a través de sus redes sociales.

CV – 16-07-2025 – IoT and Cybersecurity in Rural Environments: Trends and Best Practices

Digital development in rural environments and communities allows for the incorporation of new areas of work into the traditional economy. The use of technologies such as IoT and artificial intelligence in environments such as agriculture, heritage conservation or the generation of renewable energy for use in rural energy communities has created specific challenges in the field of cybersecurity. This summer course will analyse the implementations of IoT technologies in these areas as well as the cybersecurity solutions needed to develop secure and reliable environments. This summer course is funded through the «Smart Rural IoT and Secured Environments» chair, associated with the action for the promotion of Cyber Security Chairs in Spain of the National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE). This initiative is carried out in the framework of the EU-funded Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan funds (Next Generation), the Spanish Government’s blueprint for modernising the Spanish economy, recovering economic growth and job creation, strengthening inclusive and resilient economic reconstruction after the COVID-19 crisis, and responding to the challenges of the next decade.
